HISTORY
ITC Group d.o.o. was founded on December 8, 1989 by Janez Skrubej. He had just returned from his executive program on MIT in Boston and decided to start his own business. The purpose of the company was to produce and sell MISS (Management Information Support System). The company had a good start and expanded further in  year 1992 when it was decided that ITC Group would start wiring buildings with structural wiring based on Systimax system from AT&T. In the same year, ITC Group d.o.o. became an AT&T Value Added Reseller. Its first project was the World Trade Center in Ljubljana which became its most important reference. In 1996, ITC Group signed a contract with an AT&T's spin-off equipment company Lucent Technologies to sell SYSTIMAX and WAVELAN systems and this successful partnership has continued till the year 2000 when Lucent technologies changed its sales strategy.
